Even with price caps in place, we are all paying more for electricity from the grid.   On a positive note however, SOLAR PV technology has significantly improved in efficiency. . .  and has tumbled in price.

Solar PV first became popular around 15 years ago, when FEED IN TARIFFS were paid to home owners for each kiloWatt of excess energy uploaded to the National Grid.   Although FITs no longer apply to new installations. . .  huge improvements in the underlying technology means that Solar PV is now an even more important hedge against rising electricity prices.

battery storage options

Electrical power generated by your PV, but not used in real time or uploaded to your energy provider under a Smart Export Guarantee, can be stored in high-capacity batteries.   Your FREE ENERGY REPORT will detail which battery options are most compatible with your proposed system.

For the safety of power engineers, solar PV will automatically disconnect from the grid in the event of a power cut, and remain offline until power returns.

Solŵr Wales can add an emergency off-grid back-up to your system that will instantly switch critical systems such as your wi-fi, fridge, freezer, EV charger and your central heating's pump, to use battery power during an outage.
