Even with short-term price caps in force, we are all paying significantly more for energy, particularly electricity.   On a more positive note however, SOLAR PV TECHNOLOGY has greatly improved in efficiency. . .  and has tumbled in price.

Solar PV first became popular over 15 years ago, due in part to the FEED IN TARIFFS paid to home owners for each kiloWatt of unused energy uploaded to the National Grid.   Although FITs are no longer available for new installations. . .  thanks to huge improvements in the underlying technology, Solar PV now represents an even more powerful hedge against rocketing electricity bills!

battery storage options

Electricity generated by your solar panels, but not used immediately (or exported to the grid under a Smart Export Guarantee ), can be stored in high capacity Lithium-Ion batteries.   Your FREE ENERGY REPORT will include details of the battery options that are most compatible with your proposed system's output and, of course, any grant funding available.

For engineer safety, most solar PV systems will automatically disconnect from the grid in the event of a power cut, and remain offline until power returns.

An emergency off-grid back-up is able to instantly switch the whole home, or critical systems such as your wi-fi, freezer, EV charger. . .  even your central heating's electrical pump, to battery power during an outage.
