upgrading

A few years ago, under a government backed scheme, power companies were paying as much as 42.5p for every kWh of electricity sent back into the grid from domestic PV systems. . . usually on a fixed 20 year contract.
Although these 'Feed in Tariffs' are no longer available for new installs, when Solŵr Wales adds to your existing solar panels, you'll save instantly on each kWh of electricity you no longer need to buy!
You may, however, need to upgrade your INVERTER to handle the additional power generation.
adding capacity
With more, or higher output, panels.
You have the option to increase the generating capacity of your current system by adding more PV panels. Due to your old panels' loss of efficiency since they were originally installed, you may find that there is spare capacity that you can capitalise upon!
Extra panels can be mounted adjacent to those already in place or, because blue skies are not required and they no longer need to be South facing, can be located elsewhere. . . even on the reverse of the same roof.
Note: You will probably also need to upgrade your existing INVERTER to handle the extra power generation.
Alternately, you can install a completely separate, parallel, system with its own Inverter.

feed in tariffs
One of the questions our engineers will ask when you call is; 'Do you currently receive Feed In Tariffs from your energy provider?' This is because your FIT contract may limit the number of Kilowatts that your provider is obliged to purchase from you under a 'Declared Net Capacity' clause.

As part of this remote survey Solŵr Wales engineers will look at your current system's performance, your FIT contract and revenues, and include their recommendations in your complimentary ENERGY REPORT.
This report is genuinely free and without obligation. . . can you really afford not to find out?
