It is really important to act quickly!  Although the grant scheme is scheduled to run throughout next year, applications are treated on a first-served basis. . .  until the total capital available in the fund has been allocated.

As an aside, if you have an existing solar PV system, your consultant engineer will also be able to calculate how much spare capacity remains within your existing FIT contract.
